Advancing both precision diagnostics and targeted therapeutics requires the development of highly specific ligands capable of recognizing disease-associated biomarkers with exceptional affinity. At Fetse Lab, we design and optimize peptide-based ligands that selectively bind to disease-specific biomarkers, enabling precise imaging. These ligands are also engineered to facilitate the targeted delivery of therapeutics, improving drug localization while minimizing off-target effects.
By leveraging phage display, and structure-based design our research focuses on identifying ligands with high specificity, stability, and biocompatibility. Whether used for fluorescence imaging, or nanoparticle functionalization, these ligands serve as powerful tools for early disease detection and precision therapy, enhancing both diagnostic accuracy and treatment efficacy.
